Credit Record Improvement

With an ever-increasing amount of goods and services requiring a credit check, it has never been more important to ensure that you have a good credit record, and that all of information held about you is accurate.

The two main credit reference agencies are Experian and Equifax and they hold information such as, how long you have lived at your address, your current credit agreements, any missed repayments, previous credit that you have had and details of legal action such as county court judgments or default notices.

If you consider that the information held is incorrect, you can appoint a solicitor who will apply to the credit reference agency for a notice of correction or a notice of dispute.
